I often get asked about my favourite books, so here is a list of all the books that have stuck with me over the years and as I read I will update the list – but only the books that really, really stick with me will make it onto the list.
P.S I Love you by Ceclia Ahern – Read this book when I was about 18/19 it was the first book that ever made me laugh and cry (at the same time) if people as me for a book recommendation it’s normally the first one I give. I know it’s cliche but the book is so much better than the film, the book will stay with me always…
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen – The first non-school classic I ever read like every woman EVER I love Mr.Darcy but for me Elizabeth Bennett is the star of this book, she’s my soul sister.
You Had Me At Hello by Mhairi McFarlane – Read this back in 2013 it is Chick Lit, Romance, what ever label you want to give it but let me tell you this I have never wanted two fictional characters to get together more than these two! ❤
Summer in February by Jonathan Smith – My fave book of all time, enough said.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte – Heathcliff…
Silver Linings Playbook by Mathew Quick – Such a positive life affirming read, I love it reading this is a must for anyone who has ever felt a little lost.
On the Island by Tracey Graves Garvis – This is an unconventional love story which had me feeling all the feels everyone one of them.
Perks if Being a Wall Flower by Stephen Chbosky – This is a short novel that is so beautifully written that every sentence is quotable. Sometimes I would read pages over and over again just to take in the beauty of the language but the most beautiful thing of all is the story- A MUST READ.
Me Before You by Jo Jo Moyes (Will and Lou <3)
I LOVE Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights. Great choices! 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
